Petro-Chemical – Florida, USA: Dynamic analysis for piled foundation supporting reciprocating compressors at Florida SE CDP Project
Power – Bermuda: Design of isolated foundation system for Bermuda Electric Light Company – North Power Station.
Oil and Gas – Canada:
- Shell Athabasca Oil Sands Downstream Project – gas and steam turbine generator in the CoGen Plant. Peer-review for foundation design including: dynamic analysis, response calculations, and design quality assurance.
- Petro-Canada Mackay River Project – TransCanada Energy co-generation facility. Peer-review for engineering design of the foundation including: dynamic analysis, response calculations, and design quality assurance.
- AEC Foster Creek Co-Generation Project – Cogeneration facility. Peer-review for engineering design of the foundation including: dynamic analysis, response calculations, and design quality assurance.
- Horizon Oil Sands Project – oil sands extraction and upgrading facility, Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). Engineering support and external review of engineering work to provide optimized geotechnical design parameters for deep foundations in all areas and facilities.
- Suncor Oilsands Voyageur Upgrader Plant- North Fort McMurray. Engineering support and external review of engineering design of cooling tower unit including: review of the geotechnical investigation report and interpretation of soil parameters, proposed foundation system and its modeling, analysis and interpretation of results, and the detailed final design recommendations.
- Suncor DBQ Secondary Extraction Project – Detailed design of modular steel structures supporting vertical centrifuges and supported on a common concrete pile cap foundation, Fort McMurray, AB.
- Enbridge Athabasca Terminal Project – Design of booster pump foundation. Engineering support and external review of engineering design work of the foundation including: review of the geotechnical investigation report and interpretation of soil parameters, proposed foundation system and its modeling, analysis and interpretation of results, and the detailed final design recommendations.
- Imperial Oil CLPP Mahkeses Plant – Dynamic analysis and design of a modular steel structure supporting multiple pumps and supported directly on steel driven piles, Cold Lake, AB.
- Enbridge pipeline Clipper Expansion Phase 1 CE1 project – Design of pumps foundation. Engineering support and external review of engineering design work of foundations supported on helical piles, including: review of the geotechnical investigation report and interpretation of soil parameters, proposed foundation system and its modeling, analysis and interpretation of results, and the detailed final design recommendations.

Mining
- Brazil: Dynamic analysis of foundations for tertiary crushers, and modular steel structures supporting primary and secondary screens – Areas 2012, 2013 and 2032– at Vale project Ferro Carajas S11D.
- Panama: Seismic hazard analysis, ground response analysis, stability of slopes, stability of retaining walls, and foundation design for several ball mills for a major gold mining project
Cement – Ecuador: Vibration monitoring and evaluation of deficient large shallow foundation supporting a raw mill, Holcim International, Guayaquil, Ecuador. Designed a retrofit solution to mitigate vibration, increase reliability, and achieve satisfactory performance.

LNG – Ras-Laffan, Qatar: Design of foundations for several compressors for natural gas liquidation facility. These included both large thickness shallow foundations and cast-in-place reinforced concrete pile supported tabletop foundations. The piles design was particularly challenging as it penetrated through the Semsema formation, which is characterized with large voids
Petro-Chemical – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Design of foundations for Booster Primary and Hyper reciprocating compressor foundations at Sadara HP LDPE 3 Project
Cement:
- Vietnam: Evaluation of geotechnical condition and dynamic analysis of pile supported foundations for raw mills and cement mills
- Cambodia: Design of foundations for raw mill, cement mill and coal mill at the CMIC Cement Plant (5,000t) Project. In addition, vibration isolation recommendations to mitigate the impact from the operation of the cement mill (the source of the vibrations) on two sensitive nearby structures of concern (main substation and the central control room).
Expert Witness and Forensics – China: Served as expert witness in cost overruns case related to overdesign of compressor foundations

Commercial and Residential – England: Vibration assessment and dynamic analysis for City Road Estate – London due to underground subway traffic.
Petro-Chemical – England: Dynamic Analysis and design of reciprocating compressor foundations at the Huntsman Polyethylene 1 Project.

Port Facility – Egypt: Design of diaphragm walls, deep foundations and tie-backs for major tanker terminal. Conducted finite element analysis for phased construction of the diaphragm walls, designed retrofitting innovative deep foundation system and ground improvement scheme for existing diaphragm walls. Designed the reinforced concrete platform for containers.
LNG – Mozambique: Seismic hazard assessment, site response analysis and liquefaction assessment, and development of seismic design response criteria for all foundations of equipment and support structures for the Rovuma LNG Project
Mining – Zambia: Liquefaction assessment, design of ground improvement and design of foundations for Smelter Converter, at the Mopani Mines PLC project

Commercial and Residential – New Zealand: Dynamic analysis of foundations for commercial-residential development to assess vibrations due to underground subway traffic. Conducted finite element analyses for foundations of 40-story building towers and associated retail space in downtown Auckland, New Zealand
